The following are listings for different California home school support groups that I have found on the internet. Hopefully you will be able to find something in your area. If you cannot find anyone in your area please feel free to contact me and I would be more than happy to do some research for you.
Bayshore Homeschoolers is a support group open to all homeschoolers (or those interested), regardless of faith, ethnicity, lifestyle and/or philosophy of education. The homeschoolers involved in this group follow various paths from families who file the R-4 to those enrolled in public programs and other private ISPs.

Homeschool Association of California
The HomeSchool Association of California welcomes anyone with an interest in homeschooling.
This group is interested in anything pertaining to homeschooling. For newcomers to longtimers. Find support, ideas, friends, information, sources..... We are primarily residents and neighbors of Humboldt County, but not limited to.
Queen of Angels Homeschool Association
We are a loosely structured all-inclusive support group for current or future homeschoolers. We warmly welcome families of diverse backgrounds and beliefs. We meet each Tuesday afternoon at parks throughout the South Bay Area and sponsor a variety of educational and social activities. SBFS provides an opportunity to reinforce your own home education efforts while encouraging other homeschool families.
Tri-City Homeschoolers is a loosely-structured, all-inclusive group of homeschooling families from the Fremont-Union City-Newark area.
The Tri-Valley Explorers is a member run, all-inclusive support group for homeschooling families in the Tri-Valley Area of California.
